Why is there no right of withdrawal?
According to EU law, digital content purchases normally come with a 14-day cooling-off period. However, this does not apply if you:
When completing your purchase, you explicitly consent to the immediate delivery of the digital content and waive your right of withdrawal. As a result, you are not entitled to cancel or request a refund after purchase.
Explanation (under EU law):
For digital content not supplied on a physical medium (such as a DVD or CD-ROM)—like apps, streams, or downloads—a 14-day right of withdrawal normally applies. However, this right expires if the consumer agrees to start the delivery during the withdrawal period and confirms to waive the right of withdrawal.
